With all the academic success and an illustrious career in public service, one thing that only the closest friends and family know- is about her ‘Kitchen’. Which was not only always open for the extended family but also for all under privileged people that she came in contact, for traveling families who used to bring their kids for university entrance exams and for families coming to local hospital in Aligarh to get treatment.

Hamida’s Kitchen is to honor her legacy and extend her personal wishes that a little help to traveling families takes the edge off their already stressed travel. A hot meal in such events bring normalcy in the chaotic and stressful circumstances, even if its for a short time.
